Sonnie Badu, the Ghanaian international gospel sensation, is taking the Garden City by storm with his rich urban-styled vocals and highly anointed songs on Saturday December 3, 2011.
Luv Fm and Brainhaus Productions are giving residents of Kumasi and beyond the opportunity to experience live worship in a concert “to thank God for His goodness and guidance throughout the year”.
The concert, dubbed ‘Kumasi Worships with Sonnie Badu’ will be staged at the Oasis of Love Worship Center at Ahodwo.
Sonnie, distinctively known in the western world as the Worshiper, will perform the heavenly filled tunes alongside Rev. Thomas Yawson.
“It’s going to be an evening of great worship and I bet the heavens will kiss the earth”, says Sonnie, who has promised to bring fans “closer to the throne of Grace”.
He will also be launching his new album “Colours of Africa” at the event.
Sonnie’s unique blend of intimate worship, high class visuals, and his energetic style of ushering congregations into the presence of God is affecting lives worldwide.
He sings in English, Twi, Yuroba and other African languages, explaining why Sonnie's music has become the world over.
His "Covenant keeping God" and “Baba” tracts are household favourites.
Tickets for Kumasi Worships are already sold out in Kumasi as residents await the great concert.
The concert is powered by MultiTv, with sponsorship from Yazzy Services, Bonne Arivvee Interior Deco, E-Motion Advertising Agency and Brainhaus Media Productions.
