A Hohoe Circuit Court has remanded Frederick Vinyo, 23, a labourer, for allegedly defiling two primary school pupils aged eight and six.
Vinyo, who pleaded not guilty to defilement, would re-appear on August 13.
Detective Chief Inspector of Police, Mr. Samuel Gbedema, told the court presided over by Mr. Samuel Sarpong-Appiah that on May 10 the victims visited Vinyo at Gboxome, a suburb of Hohoe, where they also lived.
He said Vinyo took them to his room and ordered them to remove their underwear and they obliged innocently.
Vinyo sexually molested the minors in turns and warned them to keep quiet over the incident or they would lose their lives.
He said the mother of one of the girls noticed that her daughter was walking clumsily and questioned her without success about what was happening to her.
Mr. Gbedema said the mother examined her private part and noticed a whitish discharge after which she narrated what Vinyo did to her and her friend.
He said the victims were taken to the Hohoe Municipal Hospital and were referred to the Volta Regional Hospital.
