Lakeside Estate, one of the greenest estates in Ghana has celebrated yet another successful Tree Growing Day.
The annual event witnessed the active participation of Lakeside Estate staff and residents, who came together to plant trees within the estate's expansive grounds.
With a longstanding tradition of honouring this day, Lakeside Estate reaffirmed its dedication to cultivating a green, smart, and secure environment.
Under the proficient guidance of Samuel Searyoh, the operations manager of Lakeside Estate, the Tree Growing Day at Lakeside Estate witnessed an exemplary display of coordination and teamwork.

Staff members from various departments collaborated with residents, united by their shared goal of fostering a green environment. Together, they planted Royal Palms, Militia Trees and Memo Sop Trees totaling 170.
Lakeside Estate's Tree Growing Day is a significant occasion that showcases the estate's enduring commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship. The event has been a cornerstone of Lakeside Estate's proactive approach to preserving nature's beauty and ensuring a sustainable future for generations to come.
The estate recognises the crucial role trees play in mitigating climate change, enhancing air quality and fostering biodiversity. By actively engaging in tree-planting activities, both staff and residents contribute to creating a greener and more vibrant ecosystem within the estate.
During the event, Dr. Prince-Joseph Ayiku, the Managing Director of Lakeside Estates in his address to the staff and residents lauded their active participation and emphasized the importance of ongoing tree care and nurturing.
Dr. Ayiku urged everyone not only to plant trees but also to take responsibility for their continued growth and well-being. Caring for the newly planted trees would ensure their long-term survival and contribute to the flourishing landscape of Lakeside Estate and the country as a whole.
