The semi-final stage of the 2026 edition of the Luv FM Primary Schools Quiz has begun on a thrilling note, with Manna International School emerging as the first finalist after a fiercely contested opening round.
Contest one of the semi-finals lived up to expectations, delivering intense competition and impressive academic display from all three schools that competed: Manna International School, God Reigns Academy of Excellence, and Precious International School.

The contest was particularly tight, with all participating schools scoring within the 40-point range, highlighting their strong preparation and determination to advance to the next stage.
At the end of the third round, the competition took an even more dramatic turn as Manna International School and God Reigns Academy of Excellence were locked in a tie.
However, Manna International School held their nerve and secured victory with 47 points, officially booking their place in the grand finale.
God Reigns Academy of Excellence followed closely with 45 points, delivering a commendable performance but falling just short of 2 points. Precious International School also put up a strong fight, finishing with 42 points in what was clearly a highly competitive contest.
Among all the semi-finalists, Manna International School had already signaled their strength earlier in the competition by recording the highest score of 55 points during the quarterfinal stage.

This outstanding performance positioned them as strong contenders for the title, and their qualification to the finals further reinforces their status as a team to beat.
Speaking after their victory, a pupil from Manna International School acknowledged the efforts of their competitors and encouraged them to return stronger.
“They did very well, and I’m telling them that next year they should come back harder,” he said.
Eight outstanding schools advanced to the semi-finals. With the conclusion of the first semi-final contest, two schools, God Reigns Academy of Excellence and Precious International School, have now exited the competition after their impressive run.
Meanwhile, six schools are still in contention for the remaining spots in the grand finale. These include Elysian International School, Adventist Academy, Divine Mission Academy, Supreme Montessori School, and defending champions, Matta Devi School, who are yet to compete in their respective semi-final contests.

With more semi-final contests scheduled over the next week, anticipation continues to build as the remaining schools prepare to battle for a place in the grand finale.
The semi-finals stage of the competition is being broadcast live on Joy Learning, Luv FM and across various social media platforms from 2:00 pm on weekdays.
