Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Mahama will on Thursday speak to the nation from the NDC Headquarters in Accra.
The press briefing which comes off at 1 pm will focus on the integrity challenges of the electoral process and unfolding events.
In a statement by the Campaign spokesperson of the NDC, he said the actions of the Electoral Commission has the tendency to "threaten to undermine Ghana’s stability and democracy."
Both Mr Mahama and his running mate, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, have suspended their tours of the Bono and Central Regions respectively.
This comes after reports of widespread anomalies in the Electoral Commission’s provisional voters register, which is currently on exhibition at polling stations throughout the country.
