The Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) has constituted a five-member Election Committee to supervise the welfare body’s election slated for next month
The Committee will be chaired by Major (Retired) Yaw Larsen, a former Chief Executive Officer of Kumasi Asante Kotoko FC.
Other members of the Committee are Nana Ntiri Dankyi of division one league board, Joseph Yaw Appiah, Mohammed Alhassan and Karim Kudayah, acting Administrative Manager of GHALCA.
The interim committee which is currently lead by Alhaji Raji will be dissolved by the close of November after six months mandate in office
A statement issued outlines the programme for the elections.
It said nominations would open on Monday, November 21 and close on Monday, December 5, 2011 whilst the elections are due for Wednesday, December 14 at the Media Centre of the Accra Sports Stadium.
Positions to be contested for include Chairman, Vice Chairman, Treasurer, two Premier League Clubs representatives and one representative each for Division One and Division Two respectively.
