Makelby International has reaffirmed its social capital standing, amassing two awards at the just-ended Ghana Philanthropy Awards 2024.
Makelby International, among over 50 individuals and organizations, stood out to win the “Radiant Achievement Award” in recognition of remarkable strides in the private business community and its sheer commitment to corporate social responsibility.
The Ghana Philanthropy Award crowned Dr. Kingsley F. Makelby, founder of Makelby International, with the “Transformational Hero Award” for his exceptional contributions to social and economic development.

Makelby International came into the beauty and body care trade, as Frank Vart Marketing Company Limited, operating a full-scale marketing company trading off body washes, fragrances, lotions, cosmetics, Olive oil and beverages.
The company in 2005, was rebranded as Chen Overseas to broaden the scope of work and production.
Integrated several production scopes into its consortium, conglomerate into the new and current brand name Makelby International.
The Makelby international pool of businesses includes; Petroleum, Agro-industry, Capital Financing, Gold Mining, Commodities, Raw Materials, Construction and Real Estate.

The Ghana Philanthropy Awards 2024 recognized the steady growth and market presence of the company through the African region, Europe, Asia and the Americas.
The award night acknowledges organizations and individuals for their extraordinary contributions to societies and leading players in the global business landscape.
The milestone clocked by Makelby International emphasises the sense of commitment to quality and expertise, whilst championing social responsibilities.
