Prince Owusu will take over coach of Medeama, agreeing a two-year contract with the Ghanaian side.
Owusu has returned to Tarkwa after a two-year stint with Sudanese side Khartoum SC.
The talent spotter replaces Swedish Tom Strand who quit his role under bizarre circumstances.
Announcing the appointment, Chief Executive James Essilfie said: Prince is one of the outstanding Ghanaian coaches at the moment. We are delighted he has re-joined us for the next two seasons.
“I like to take this opportunity to welcome him again to Medeama. He is a great coach with an enviable eye for spotting talents.
“We believe he’s the right man to steer the side to success in both the league and on the continent.”
Prince Owusu said: To return to Medeama is exciting for me and I look forward to working with a group of talented youngsters.
“To be a coach of Medeama again is an honour for me. It’s a club I admire and I look forward to a successful tenure.
“I have always felt an affinity with this wonderful club.I have always enjoyed a rapport with the Medeama fans. I’m looking forward to being their coach and enjoying their magnificent support.
