Ghana's budding defender Jonathan Mensah has replaced injured Isaac Vorsah in the Black Stars set-up for Wednesday's international friendly against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The 19-year-old centre-back was an unused substitute at the just concluded Africa Cup of Nations in Angola.
Mensah was a member of Ghana's 2009 Fifa Under-20 World Cup winning team and he is on-loan at Spanish Segunda division side Granada from Udinese.
Vorsah tore a medial collateral knee ligament last Saturday during a Bundesliga match at Hertha Berlin and has been ruled out of action for six weeks.
Serbia-based striker Yaw Antwi has also replaced in-form Portsmouth winger Quincy Owusu-Abeyie in Milovan Rajevac's 18-man squad.
"Quincy was invited but his injury at club level has denied him a return to the national team. You don't need 20 players when 18 players can play this one-off match," Ghana FA Vice President Fred Pappoe told Ghanasoccernet.com
FC Porto youngster David Addy earns a call-up as the Serbian trainer finds an antidote to his problematic left-back position.
The local component of the team will leave Ghana on Monday for the friendly in Sarajevo.
Ghana squad:
Goalkeepers: Richard Kingson-Daniel Agyei
Defenders: Samuel Inkoom, David Addy, Jonathan Mensah, Eric Addo, Lee Arday, Ibrahim Ayew
Midfielders: Emmanuel Agyeman-Badu, Anthony Annan, Kwadwo Asamoah, Dede Ayew, Sulley Muntari, Haminu Draman
Strikers: Yaw Antwi, Mathew Amoah, Asamoah Gyan, Prince Tagoe.
