Merchant Bank says its branches in Kumasi will reopen for business Monday after a court ordered its closure last Friday.
An unnamed customer involved in a legal dispute with the bank over a breach of contract is said to have secured the court order for the closure of the branches.
Joy Business has however learnt the bank has reached some form of agreement with the aggrieved customer to ensure the reopening this morning.
Meanwhile the bank’s Corporate Affairs Manager Nana Yaw Mantey told Joy Business, management of the bank is ensuring the speedy resolution of the case in the interest of customers.
