Top Ghanaian DJ and Turn Up Army commander Merqury Quaye is set to ignite the stage at the 2025 Guinness Ghana DJ Awards with an exclusive Smirnoff In The Mix Experience, delivering a high-energy live DJ set that promises to elevate the celebration of Ghana’s DJ culture.
Smirnoff In The Mix, launched earlier this year by Guinness Ghana, was introduced as an exciting lifestyle and music platform designed to “celebrate connection, creativity, and unforgettable flavour” through DJ-led experiences and vibrant community engagement.
The initiative blends music, culture, and brand interaction, giving fans a fresh way to enjoy Smirnoff while connecting with top DJs.
With the Guinness Ghana DJ Awards powered by Smirnoff in 2025, Merqury Quaye will oversee the integration of the Smirnoff In The Mix platform into the main awards programme.
Patrons can expect high-energy DJ sets, immersive brand activations, and interactive experiences tailored to amplify the event’s theme and spotlight Ghana’s DJ talent.
This year’s DJ Awards, scheduled for Saturday, November 29, will be hosted by Jay Foley and Roselyn Felli, bringing together DJs from across the country for a night that celebrates excellence, innovation, and the DJs who keep Ghana’s music culture thriving.
With DJ Sly King leading the nominations with eight nods, including the prestigious DJ of the Year and Best Mobile DJ categories, anticipation for this year’s edition is running high.
Reigning DJ of the Year, DJ Lord OTB, follows closely with seven nominations, setting the stage for a fierce contest among Ghana’s top disc jockeys.
Merqury Quaye made his first appearance on the Ghana DJ Awards stage as a performer in 2024 when he locked horns in a friendly DJ battle with veteran DJ, Andy Dosty, dubbed “Old school meets new school.
His performance gained positive reviews, with fans calling for his return to the big stage on November 29.
The addition of the Smirnoff In The Mix Experience is expected to elevate the atmosphere and deliver a memorable entertainment package for fans attending the 2025 Guinness Ghana DJ Awards.
