The Bolgatanga Polytechnic branch of Tertiary Education Institution Network (TEIN), of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), on Thursday, sent a congratulatory message to President John Atta Mills, for his effective leadership style and immense successes achieved since his assumption of office almost two years ago.
In a Press Release, TEIN congratulated the President for his recent visit to China and Japan, stating that it was a sign of the good plans the "Better Ghana Agenda" of the NDC has for the people of the Country.
"The Bolgatanga Polytechnic Branch of the NDC is solidly behind the President in achieving the dreams of the party", it stated.
TEIN had also sent a message of congratulations to former President Jerry John Rawlings, for being voted among the list of 50 Africa's most iconic figures together with Mr Kofi Annan, former Secretary of the United Nations and Ghana's first President the late Dr Kwame Nkrumah.
"To us, your inclusion is not surprising, considering the immense role you played in uplifting Ghana and Africa as a whole, especially in areas of political, socio-economic and emancipation of Ghana and Africa" the statement added.
The statement called on party members to be cautious of their actions towards the Party when directing their grievances and concerns, urging members to follow laid down party structures as provided by the constitution.
It said posterity would judge them if they were found wanting. "We say this because some of this might come to hurt us in the near future", it added.
The statement, signed by the branch President of TEIN, Mr Nantomah Fuseini, urged government appointees to establish good relationship with party members to enhance the fortunes of the party come 2012.
