The Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Mr. Akwasi Oppong Ofosu has released a list of Metropolis, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) who have been asked to vacate their post.
A statement signed by the sector minister on Sunday said the affected MMDCEs are those who have not been re-nominated and have been directed to hand over to their respective Regional Ministers with immediate effect.
They are:
Ashanti Region:

2. Mrs Theresa Adomako Tawiah - Atwima-Mponua
3. Daniel Okyeamang Apau - Mampong Municipal
4. Robert Bennett Forkuo - Amansie Central
5. Martha Bruckner - Ejura Sekyedumasi
6. Noah Asante Manu - Bekwai Municpal
Brong Ahafo Region
1. Stephen Lord Oppong - Berekum Municipal
2. J. Atttah-Bediako - Jaman South
3. Alhassan Seidu Harrison - Kintampo North Municpal
4. Yaw Osei Adjei - Wenchi Municipal
Central Region
1. Anthony Egyir Aikins - Cape Coast Metropolitan
2. Peter Kofi Osei-Ashia - Upper Denkyira East
Great Accra Region
1. Rex Daniel Wusah - Dangme East
2. Numo Adinortey Addison - Ashaiman Municipal
3. Robert Kempes Ofosu-Ware - Tema Metropolitan
