Ghana international Mohammed Kudus returned to his former school on Monday, June 30, to make a donation as part of his homecoming.
The 24-year-old returned to the Nima Basic 1 as part of a community give-back initiative through the "Kudus Dream" project he embarked on as part of his holidays.
Kudus donated books, toiletries and Skechers boots to the school as part of the project.
"I’m just here to shed a little light on my story and how I got to where I am today. I started, like all of you, studying at the school here. But at the same time, I had a passion for football, just like most of you," he told the media.

"In the football world, you need your basic education, and you need to take your education very seriously. As a footballer, you need to understand how to read your contracts, speak on interviews, talk to people and engage."
Before the donation, the West Ham United midfielder also organised a community gala that included 10 teams at Kawukudi Park on Sunday, June 29.
