Ghanaian movie producer, Kweku Boakye, popularly known as Danfo B.A, has died.
He died in the early hours of Sunday, October 14, 2018, at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra. He was 50.
According to a family source, Danfo BA had been sick for almost a year now.
The source said, he had been moving from one health facility to the other his death Sunday morning.
He left behind a wife, three children of his own and a number of adopted children.
Danfo B.A is known for producing the most popular local Akan movie “Kyeiwaa” and covered parts 1-14.
He later set up a school to give less privileged children the opportunity to access quality education.
