Lower tier side Storm Academy have officially requested for a change in venue ahead of their 2016 MTN FA Cup Round of 16 clash with Asante Kotoko.
The club based in the Eastern region have written a letter to organisers of the competition to possibly move the game.
Member of the FA Cup committee, Kofi Poku, confirmed receiving the request.
“Initially, the match was scheduled for Nkawkaw but the home team, Storm Academy has made a request of a new venue,” Kofi Poku said.
“The FA Cup Committee is yet to meet and consider the request."
Storm Academy advanced to the Round of 16 after defeating Kotoku Royals 1-0 in Mpraeso,
The 2016 MTN FA Cup Round of 16 games have been scheduled between May 15 and 21.
