Telecom giant MTN has launched its nationwide 4G internet service to provide customers with the fastest internet service.
With colourful ceremonies in the regional capitals across the country, the company simultaneously outdoored the service on Tuesday.
The Chief Executive Officer of MTN Ghana, Ebenezer Asante said the new service will take customers to another level of speed and reliability on-the-go.

"Customers can enjoy higher speed browsing, faster uploads and downloads, clearer video calling and easy streaming, either directly on their mobile handset or by using devices like modems, routers, wingles or mifi’s," he indicated.

Being the only 4G service accessible directly from your mobile phone, MTN acquired a 4G frequency spectrum of 800 MHz Band from the National Communications Authority (NCA) in December 2015 for its mobile services.

General Manager of consumer services Noel Ganson noted at the launch said the mobile 4G internet service will change the landscape of the telecom industry in the country.
Some customers were given the opportunity to experience the 4G LTE services.
