Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, presidential candidate of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) will be storming the Ashanti Region this Saturday to kick-start a 10-day campaign tour of the region.
During his stay in the region, the presidential hopeful is expected to visit a number of constituencies to sell his vision for the country to the electorate with the view of securing their votes in the upcoming general elections.
Nana Addo, who is working hard towards a resounding victory in the December 7 elections, as part of the campaign tour, Kankam, the Ashanti regional youth organiser, said the party was preparing feverishly for Nana Addo's tour.
"We are busily prepar¬ing the grounds to ensure that Nana Addo's visit to the region does not only become successful but also maximises our votes in the region in the December polls," he stated.
The youth organiser dis¬closed that in the not-too¬distant future, Nana Addo's running mate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia would also visit the region to campaign.
He revealed that Dr Bawumia would be joining the youth wing of the party in the region for week-long activities for which a date is yet to be fixed.
