Media personality and actress, Nana Ama McBrown was spotted in a traditional regalia on Saturday, December 10, 2022.
This was during the premiere of a new movie, ‘Asantewaa, Battle for the Golden Stool’ at the Silverbird Cinema in Accra.
The movie which is a 3D animation was based on the story of Yaa Asantewaa, Queen Mother of Ejisu who sought to protect the Golden Stool.

The Golden Stool is regarded as a symbol of unity of the Ashanti Kingdom.
The lead character was voiced by Nana Ama McBrown who was seated at the foyer of the cinema when patrons turned up for the Saturday premiere.
Amid the beating of traditional drums, she danced ‘Adowa, a traditional dance mostly performed by the Akans.
She executed the moves to an ensemble in her intriguing royal attire.
Nana Ama was accompanied by TV personality, Kwasi Kyei Darkwah (KKD).
