The highly anticipated National Economic Dialogue 2025 begins this morning at the Accra International Conference Centre, bringing together top economic experts, policymakers, and industry leaders to address Ghana’s pressing economic challenges.
Led by President John Mahama, the forum will focus on the theme “Resetting Ghana: Building the Economy We Want Together.”

Discussions will center on macroeconomic stability, economic transformation, infrastructure development, structural reforms, private sector growth, and governance.
A distinguished lineup of presenters, including Leslie Dwight Mensah, Prof. Ebo Turkson, Abena Osei-Poku, David Ofosu-Dorte, Dr. Elikplim Kwabla Apetorgbor, and Franklin Cudjoe, will share insights and policy recommendations.

The discussions will be guided by expert moderators, including Governor of the Bank of Ghana under the erstwhile Kufour administration Dr. Paul Acquah, Dr. Edward K. Brown, Mr. Joe Mensah, Mr. Felix Addo, Prof. K. K. Sarpong, and Dr. Emmanuel Akwetey of Institute For Democratic Governance(IDEG).

With stakeholders from government, business, and civil society in attendance, today’s dialogue is expected to set the course for Ghana’s economic recovery and long-term growth.
