The National Democratic Congress (NDC) will be embarking on a demonstration dubbed March for Justice today.
The Police have agreed to provide security during the protest after earlier declining citing Covid-19 imposition of restriction.
The protest led by the NDC youth wing will also have the full backing of the Inter-Party Resistance Against the New Voters Register (IPRAN), a group made up of six other political parties who have expressed their support for the cause.

National Youth Organizer of the NDC, George Opare Addo explains a petition will be presented to President Akufo-Addo and the Speaker of Parliament after walking through some principal streets of the capital.

“A peaceful march of all disciplined Ghanaians who are only out there to protest about the recent happening in the country. We will be presenting a petition to Akufo-Addo. We will converge at 6 am at Accra Mall, we will go through the liberation road, through the Association traffic light to Opebea house then we will use Aviation road and then we will come out at the AU roundabout … in front of Cantonment post office.

"We will go past the National Development Commission and then we will present our first petition at the Flag Staff House. From the Flag Staff House, we will proceed through the Ako Adjei Interchange unto the Independence road and through the Ridge roundabout towards Parliament House.”
Meanwhile, the Public Relations Officer of the Greater Accra Police Command, DSP Efia Tenge is indicating inconveniences on the routes selected by the NDC.

“The police is envisaging some inconveniences along the Tetteh Quarshie interchange towards the AU roundabout that is on the Liberation road and so if you are leaving home, you may plan on any alternative route otherwise, when you get there, the police who have been deployed in this area would assist you and divert you on the diversionary roads that have been made purposely go this march,” she said.
