One of the six footbridges on the Madina-Adentan Highway has been completed and opened for use.
But residents are disappointed about the nature of the bridge.
“It’s too long and zig-zag,” one resident told Joy News in an interview.
Scores of people have since taken to social media to ridicule the footbridge.

The contractor, however, explains that the top of the footbridge was already constructed when they came.
He said they were forced to work within the limited space available. Besides the nature of the walkway to the top makes it accessible to persons with disability and pedal cyclists.
Several people were knocked by cars when crossing the Madina-Adentan Highway, causing a series of protests.
