The stage is all set for the Night of 1012 Laughs and Music fixed for the Dome of the Accra International Conference Centre on Saturday, July 9.
Currently in its 12th edition, the annual series sponsored by telecoms market leader, MTN, has never run short of excitement and organizers say this year’s holds even more promise.
In the lie-up of stand-up comedians ready to tempt patrons to crack their ribs are the ever popular Gordons, a comedian admired around the globe for his exceptionally witty jokes and the phenomenal Emeka Smith, currently one of Nigeria’s most respected comedians.
Bash will be making another appearance after his resounding success during the December edition of the show while the gifted Elenu with a natural flair for tickling his audience silly will complete the Nigerian list to join forces with Ghana’s very own Funny Face, the swag-on papa.
Funny Face, arguably Ghana’s finest comedian presently, (and you want to wish Ajass was still around for a duel), is remembered for his master craft at the Night of 1010 Laughs and Music.
Completing the night’s excitement will be the music part to feature the evergreen Ben Brako, known for his stimulating career of over 20 years. Ben Brako will be thrilling the audience with his several hi-life classics including Anokum and Mawie.
And there will also be Ghana’s fastest rapper and GMA Artistes of the Year 2010, Sarkodie, plus the enigmatic Efya of Little Things fame. You may have to grab a ticket at Koala, Citizen Kofi, X-Men and Charterhouse or you are out of the weekend fun.
