The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Chairman for the Nhyiaeso constituency in the Ashanti Region, Joe Kad has passed on.
According to reports, he died at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) on Wednesday, 31 July 2024.
Joe Kad, who is said to be the longest serving constituency chairman in the NPP, had been ill and was on admission at UGMC for about a week before he died.
Following the announcement of his dead, many NPP faithful have taken to social media to mourn his passing.
A Deputy Communications Director of the NPP, Ernest Owusu Bempah, posted on his WhatsApp status; “Wofa Joe, Damirifa Due... my good friend.”
Another Deputy Director of Communications for the NPP also wrote the following on his WhatsApp status; “Awww Chairman Joe Kad. Strongman da yie.”
Nhyiaeso Member of Parliament and Deputy Minister for Finance, Stephen Amoah popularly known as Sticker expressed his condolence to the bereaved family.
