The New Patriotic Party (NPP), has unveiled its National Campaign Team for the 2012 elections at the national headquarters at Asylum Down, Accra.
The National Chairman of the party, Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey, announced the various committees and their respective chairmen and called on them to remain focussed and dedicated to the task of winning 2012.
A statement issued by the party signed by General Secretary, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, said the presidential candidate, Nana Akufo-Addo while inaugurating the campaign team, thanked all the chairpersons of the various committees for accepting to serve and work for the party to execute the campaign.
He noted that this campaign team will be responsible for the general combat of the campaign, adding that all the persons chosen to play different roles in the campaign team are people who are to his knowledge, very competent and capable of doing the work.
Nana Addo implored them to work hard and be guided by the single objective of winning 2012, noting that “the Ghanaian people are obviously not happy with the performance of the NDC and the cry is the same everywhere you go. The Ghanaian people see in us the NPP, the instrument that can bring back hope and prosperity to them, and we cannot fail them.”
