When the love is deep it is always difficult to say good-bye.
NPP UK bid farewell to Maa Cecilia as she is affectionately called on Saturday, June 11, 2022.
The funeral was attended by many party faithful and well-wishers across the 16 inaugurated chapters and chapter information across the United Kingdom.
The NPP UK Chairman, Mr Kingsley Adumattah Agyapong and the Executives present led the procession of the funeral to the church and mourned with the family.


At the funeral service, Chairman Kingsley Adumattah Agyapong seized the opportunity to thank the Branch and Chapter representatives who came in their numbers to mourn with the family.
He commended the role and contribution of the NPP Women’s wing led by Ms. Patricia Boakye, the Women’s Organiser and the Swindon Chapter for the enviable good work done. He thanked the Chapter Chairmen and members for the love displayed during this difficult time.


He also acknowledged the brilliant work done by the NPP UK Welfare Committee and the continued support to members.
The NPP UK Chairman read the tribute on behalf of the Swindon NPP Chapter and testified to Maa Cecilia’s selfless dedication, commitment, and impact to the Chapter, Branch and NPP as a whole.


He also read out personalised tributes and eulogies from patriots who were closed to Maa Cecilia.
NPP UK Branch Executives who attended were the Branch Chairman, Mr Kingsley Adumattah Agyapong, 1st Vice Chair, Mr Alex Appiah Mensah, the 2nd Vice Chair, Mr Ibrahim Abdul-Mumuni, the Organiser, Mr Kwame Boateng, Secretary, Mr Otuo Acheampong, Treasurer, Mr Charles Asma, Women’s Organiser, Ms Patricia Boakye and the Youth Organiser, Mr Ike Price Asante.
