The National Youth Employment Program will receive 60 percent of the Communications Service Tax otherwise known as talk time tax from next month.
National Coordinator Abuga Pele who confirmed this to the Ghana News Agency said the NYEP will receive a regular monthly transfer of about 4.5 million Ghana cedis.
This should greatly improve the situation of the programme which has persistently struggled to pay its volunteers.
