Under-fire Hearts of Oak General Manager Vincent Sowah-Odotei has vowed to revive the club's battered image.
Hearts attractiveness have waned drastically amid managerial inefficiencies which has crippled the direction of the club.
The Phobians last won a major trophy in 2009, flattering to deceive, playing catch-ups to emerging forces but Odotei is confident he can get the team back to their glory days.
“I can assure you that Hearts of Oak is on the right track.” Odotei told Asempa Sports.
“The season gone by, we were able to stabilize the club and be slightly operationally efficient which is key. We need to be able to ensure that we generate more revenue operationally to finance our cost so Hearts of Oak is on the right track and I can assure you that if you give us your support by making sure that you look at the right areas and by making sure that you understand what is going on, come next year you will see a total Hearts of Oak.’’
“If you come to Pobiman, there are two phases for the Pobiman project. The first phase is about reconstructing of the training pitch so we can move the whole team to that area. Hearts of Oak at 105 years, we don’t have our own training pitch I can assure you that by January ending the team will have their own training pitch at Pobiman.’’
“Those of you who doubt what we are saying, from here you can all go to the site and you will see people working there so there first phase is to develop the pitch and then rent private accommodation for all our players at Pobiman and the head coach we will appoints will be housed in Pobiman.”
Vincent Sowah Odotei added management are working around to build a ''sports complex.’’
