Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala have confirmed the signing of Ghanaian Midfileder Rabiu Mohammed on a three and a half year deal. The club announced the signing of the 26- year old on their official website
Mohammed Rabiu transferred to Anji as a free agent.
The midfielder moved from relegated side Kuban Krasnodar on a free transfer after three seasons with the club. He made 57 appearances in all competitions and scored one goal.
The Ghanaian International has been sidelined with a knee injury he suffered back in April in their 1-0 home defeat to Rostov in the Russian Premier league game
This April, the midfielder was operated on due to the tear of his knee`s front crucial ligament, he`s currently under medical treatment and trains on his individual program.
The club`s doctors mark the success of the operation, positive dynamics of the player`s recovery and prognosticate his resumption of complete trainings within two months.
