The outgoing Member of Parliament (MP) for Okere, Daniel Kwaku Botwe, has been honoured as ‘Nkosuohene’ (Development Chief) of Akuapem.
The honour is a recognition of his hard work, and integrity brought to the people of Akuapem throughout his political life and particularly as the MP for Okere.
The Chiefs and people of the Akuapem Traditional Area bestowed the title on him during the annual Odwira durbar of the Akuapem Nifa division at Adukrom.
Osuodumgya Otutu Ababio, Akuapem Nifahene and Chief of Adukrom who spoke on behalf of Oseadeyo Kwasi Akuffo, the Okuapehene said: “The whole of Akuapem is impressed with your hard work and selfless service to Ghana.”
