Old Mutual awarded over 80 Financial Advisors at the recently held Sales Award Ceremony at Labadi Beach Hotel.
The ceremony rewarded Financial Advisors for their efforts in selling and promoting Old Mutual’s products and services to various customers in Ghana.
This year’s theme was “Pushing Beyond Boundaries”, which is in line with the values of Old Mutual.
Old Mutual Ghana has held the Sales Award Ceremony since 2014 and prides itself with embedding its values: Integrity, Accountability, Respect and Pushing Beyond Boundaries, across all levels of the organization.
“Indeed as our Financial Advisors you are Old Mutual’s Brand Ambassadors. Through you; our customers understand and appreciate our products and services. Through you, they are able to make decisions on what products and services will serve their financial goals or dreams. Through you, Ghanaians are able to “Do Great Things”, said the CEO of Old Mutual Ghana, Chris Kapanga at the Award Ceremony.
The CEO also noted that awards they received motivated the Financial Advisors to pursue their dreams, “Dreams, sometimes seem insurmountable, especially in these harsh economic times. Dreams are really goals with a timeline. In your field – Dreams are targets that you must achieve with a timeline, and with each achievement a personal goal is realized”
The top award went to Eric Kelvin Appiah, a financial advisor who received a cash award GHC 8,000, a 42 inch plasma television set and an Off Shore Award which for this year is a trip to Dubai and Paris for himself and his spouse. Walter Klomegah, Sales Manager, was the second recipient of the Off Shore Award.
15 other Financial Advisors also received On Shore Awards; a trip to Cape Town for themselves and their spouses.
The Head Of Distribution, Linda Mariwande noted with pride that the Financial Advisors had managed to overcome several challenges to win the prestigious awards, and added that, “We are fortunate at Old Mutual; Our values - Accountability, Respect, Integrity and Pushing Beyond Boundaries is the anchor that keeps us grounded, persistent and consistent!”
