Music artiste, Black Sherif, says his fashion sense makes him feel like an icon.
The 20-year-old’s music has gradually become a national sensation, topping charts on various music streaming platforms in Ghana and other parts of the world.
However, one thing that people do not seem to be impressed with is his fashion style.
Speaking in an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz, the singer whose real name is Mohammed Ismail Sherif Kweku Frimpong, said that he does not care about these criticisms.
As a matter of fact, he told Andy Dosty that his style makes him feels like an icon.
“They say I dey dress someway but I dey see myself as some Icon oo. I dey look fly,” he said.
‘Blacko’ is mostly seen dressed wearing a pair of baggy jeans, a t-shirt, big pair of shoes and a Du-rag or cap.
Black Sherif is a Ghanaian musician and performer from Konongo, Ghana, he is well known for his song Second Sermon featuring Burna boy in Nigeria.
Black Sherif is currently one of Ghana’s artistes who is waving the county’s flag up high on the international front.
His most recent song, "Kweku the Traveler", is currently the most sought-after song in the world on Shazam.
The song which talks about the journey of a determined musician who is ready to do anything to defile all odds for success is also topping charts in Nigeria and Gambia.
