The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Jomoro constituency, Mr. Lee Ocran has accused the people in his constituency of ingratitude.
He said despite working hard to develop the area as an MP, the people had not appreciated his efforts.
The NDC big shot lost the seat to Samia Nkruman, daughter of Ghana's first President Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. She may as well be the only CPP Parliamentarian in 230 Member House.
Speaking to Joy News’ Matilda Asante, Mr. Ocran expressed regret that the election in the constituency was not based on issues and records of the candidates.
“Why, I am not standing against Kwame Nkrumah, if people want to vote for Nkrumah they can do so,” he fumed.
He said despite working in the interest of the constituents since 1979, they had deserted him.
