For the fifth time running, Joy FM producer Philip Nai and his friends, have shown love to some children as part of the Christmas celebration.
As a way of demonstrating the essence of Christmas, which is love, Philip Nai took the 2024 edition of the charity event dubbed Philip Nai and Friends to Agblezaa, a community at Teshie in Accra.
The programme was held at the forecourt of Agblezaa Action Chapel on December 24, 2024.
Supported by his friends from the media, arts and corporate Ghana, Philip Nai provided food items, learning materials, clothing, and entertainment to the children of the community.
There were activities such as musical performances, health screening by Sonotech Medical and Diagnostic Centre, sip and paint, dancing competition, musical chairs, among others.
Venerated broadcast journalist, Nana Aba Anamoah and celebrated gospel musician Cwesi Oteng, who also attended this year’s event, interacted with the children.
Speaking to the children, Nana Aba Anamoah advised to be courteous in their engagements with people. She explained to them, the importance of saying "please" and "thank you" to people. According to her, this will help them grow to become responsible and well-mannered individuals.
'God Dey Bless Me' hit maker, Cwesi Oteng, also took turn to perform some of his hit songs to the audience.
Philip Nai and Friends is a charity project founded by Philip Nai, a philanthropist and one of Ghana's astute and well-known producers at Joy FM, a subsidiary of The Multimedia Group.
Also present at the event were the Programmes Manager of Joy FM, Edem Knight-Tay; Dr. Grace Buckman, the Chief Executive Officer of Sonotech Medical and Diagnostic Centre; Rev.
