Kumawood stars thrilled patrons at the Adom Nine Lessons and Carols with a beautiful re-enactment of the birth of Jesus.
The setting for the play was modern-day Ghana.
The show left revelers laughing from start to finish as it creatively dwelt on a 21st century Joseph who needed money to marry Mary amidst the current economic crisis.

The actors included; Dr Likee, Matilda Awuni, Don Little and many other stars.
The play touched on present day issues such as fix the country and Covid-19. It also featured newly elected NDC Chairman, Asiedu Nketia and perhaps the most popular slogan in the country today ‘sika mp3 dede.’

The event begun with local carols by the Akua Akyere Memorial Youth Choir and the nine lessons were read by carefully selected radio and television personalities of Adom FM and Adom TV and Asempa FM.
Gospel musician MOG took over in high spirits and lifted the patrons to the heavens with his soul-inspiring tunes.

Then came the surprise act, Krymi, who compelled the audience to dance their feet off.
