President Nana Akufo-Addo from October 2 to October 8, embarked on a 7-day tour of the three Northern regions as part of his tour of the country.
He began the tour with a 2-day visit to the Upper West Region, where inspected and commissioned some projects. He also met with the Upper West Regional House of Chiefs, in Wa.

In the Upper East, President Akufo-Addo charged the Roads and Highway Ministry to speed up work on the construction of the 109-kilometre road Bolgatanga to Bawku Road.



The President also a $55.50 million Wa Water Project at Jambusie which will supply 3.3 million gallons of water per day to the residents.
In the Lawra Traditional Area, the President met with Naa Puowele Karbo, the Paramount Chief of Lawra.
In Wa, the President met with the chiefs and elders of the Upper West regional House of Chief.
