Voting is reported to be proceeding smoothly in the Volta regional capital, Ho.
Just over 90,000 registered voters are expected to cast their ballots across the various polling stations in the capital.
Three hours into the exercise, Joy News understands that voter turnout has been high at some polling stations. The exercise is reported to be peaceful.
In the constituency, three candidates are contesting the parliamentary seat: the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Ho, Divine Bossman; Edem Kpodosu of the National Democratic Congress (NDC); and independent candidate Mawulorm Kwame Klutse.
