JoyNews’ national dialogue on illegal mining happened on Monday, December 4 at the Labadi Beach Hotel.
The dialogue will foster a comprehensive understanding of the challenges posed by illegal mining and explore solutions to the menace in the country.
The dialogue, titled "Poisoned for Gold" follows JoyNews’ Erastus Asare Donkor’s documentary which exposes how Illegal miners use mercury to collect gold, exposing residents in the mining areas to danger.
