Also, the allegation by former Environment, Science and Technology Minister, Prof Kwabena Frimpong Boateng that many top government officials engaged in illegal mining, popularly known as ‘galamsey’ during his tenure.
President Akufo-Addo acted on the allegations by tasking the Police to investigate the allegations.
