The programme requires Ghana to exchange gold for fuel.
Government believes that the deal will help reduce the cost of fuel in the country. However, a section of the public has cast doubt on the ability of the deal to curb the fuel price hikes, hence the topic for discussion "gold for oil programme: Solution to high prices in fuel?"
Guest for Thursday night’s programme is the Deputy Minister of Energy, Andrew Egyapa Mercer.
