Following the failure of the Minority in Parliament to refute the passage of the six ministerial nominees of the Akufo-Addo government, many are wondering the essence of Ghana having a hung Parliament.
After the 2020 election, a section of Ghanaians were optimistic that the country’s hung Parliament was what the country needed to enhance democracy.
The Parliament has, however, been operating since January 2021 and has had very little to show when it comes to keeping the executive on its toes.
It is on the back of this that, tonight’s edition of The Probe is asking the question “Ghana’s Hung Parliament: A curse or blessing?”
JoyNews’ Emefa Apawu will host a number of panelists to dissect the topic.
