The Police Hospital says it will embark on a mass burial for about 120 bodies which are unknown or unclaimed for some time.
In a statement Wednesday, the hospital explained that this is “part of a routine measure to decongest the Police Hospital Mortuary.”
The Hospital has, therefore, informed the general public to contact its Pathology Department for identification of their relations who might have gone missing for some time.
This is to avert such bodies being added to those earmarked for mass burial which the Hospital has scheduled in the next 21 days.
The Hospital encouraged the general public to develop the habit of always having any form of identification card for easy identification in case of an accident or an emergency.
