The Ashanti Regional Police Command is making frantic efforts to arrest gun men who shot and killed Halidu Bindow, a 45-year-old herdsman, his daughter and a neighbour at Jamasi, near Ejisu in the Ejisu-Juaben Municipality.
The Police have said they suspect foul-play in the incident, which took place on May 21 as the unknown assailants after the killings, attempted to set the body of the herdsman ablaze and bolted before the Police could get to the crime scene.
Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Kwaku Osei Ampofo Duku, the Second-In-Command of the Ashanti Police, speaking to the media in Kumasi, on Thursday, gave the names of the other deceased persons as Ramatu Adamu, the two-year daughter and Salamatu Issaka, the neighbour, aged 40.
He said no arrest had been made and Police were on the heels of the perpetrators to bring them to face the law.
The body of the herdsman, which the Police saved from burning together with the other deceased persons, have, however, been buried according to Muslim tradition.
ACP Duku said the deceased, Fati Halidu, (wife) and their six children had lived in the Jamasi Community for the past 20 years.
Fati, who survived the assassination, told the police that on May 21, at about 2000hours, her husband came back from town and was about to park his motorbike in front of their house, when she heard a gunshot.
The deceased shouted for help and fearing for her life and that of her children, run to some nearby houses to inform their neighbours.
Whilst narrating the incident to them, the gunmen, who had already shot and killed the husband, besieged that house too, fired at them and wounded her, her little daughter (Ramatu), and two of their neighbours - Salamatu and Mohammed Alidu.
The victims were rushed to the Ejisu Government Hospital for treatment, where the girl died shortly from her wounds shortly.
Salamatu, who was referred to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) also died later from her wounds.
 Fati and Mohammed Alidu, who sustained gunshot wounds, have been treated and discharged by the Ejisu Government Hospital.
The Police found three spent cartridges at the scene.
