Apostle Michael Osmanu Abass, General Overseer of the Zion Apostolic Mission, has called on politicians to let their utterances promote peace and unity to ensure national development.
He said since the 2008 elections were over, political parties must bury their differences, unite and rally behind the government in power for a better Ghana.
Apostle Abass made the call at the opening of a 14-day revival of the Christ Unique Miracle Centre in Accra on Wednesday.
About 100 members of the church are attending the revival, which is under the theme “Lord Revive us again”.
Apostle Abass said unity played a very important role in the socio-economic development of every nation and that without that there would be no development.
He advised Christians to open a new chapter by refraining from acts, which hinder national development.
In a related development, Prophet Matthew Yeboah, General Overseer of the Christ Unique Miracle Centre, asked politicians to put Ghana first on their developmental agenda.
He said the politicians represented God on this earth and that they should show love and tender care to the people they serve in particular and Ghana as a whole.
Prophet Yeboah called on parents to ensure that their children are always given the necessary care they needed.
He advised drivers to desist from driving under the influence of alcohol to save lives and property.
Reverend Aaron Ayerson, Assistant Pastor of the Church called on the Ministry of Education to re-introduce Bible Knowledge in schools to help curb moral decadence.
