President John Mahama has nominated about 30 more Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs). A statement issued Monday said the nominations are in accordance with Article 243(1) of the 1992 Constitution and Section 20(1) of the Local Government Act 1993, Act 462. The nominations included: 1. Ga West: Sam Atukwei Quaye 7. Cape Coast: Priscilla Arhin 8. Upper Denkyira: Emelia Ankomah 9. Asuogyaman: Thomas Ampem Nyarko 10. New Juaben: Dr. Kwaku Owusu Acheampong 11.
