President John Mahama has nominated about 30 more Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs).
A statement issued Monday said the nominations are in accordance with Article 243(1) of the 1992 Constitution and Section 20(1) of the Local Government Act 1993, Act 462.
The nominations included:
1. Nzema East: James A. K. Baidoe
2. Wa Municipal: Issahaku Nuhu
3. Jirapa: Vivien Nelly Kunko Banongkore
4. Lambussie Karni: Bom kofi Dy-Yaka
5. Ada East: Peter Kofi Aduteye
6. Ga West: Sam Atukwei Quaye
7. Cape Coast: Priscilla Arhin
8. Upper Denkyira: Emelia Ankomah
9. Asuogyaman: Thomas Ampem Nyarko
10. New Juaben: Dr. Kwaku Owusu Acheampong
11. Jaman South: Dora Ama Tamea
12. Kintampo North: Michael Justice Baffoe
13. Bongo District: Alex Ayamdor Adugdaa
14. Bawku Municipal: Amadu I. W. Karimu
15. Kassena-Nankana East: Dr. Stanislaus Alu Akandingdi
16. Kassena-Nankena West: George Nonterah
17. Builsa South: Afiuc Elizabeth Jane
18. Atwima Mponua: Stephen Yeboah
19. Amansie Central: Emmanuel Dede Appiah
20. Atwima Kwanwoma: Kwabena Nkrumah
