Nana Akufo-Addo has praised the collaboration between Kenpong Football Academy and the French Ligue 1 side Bastia FC.
The two clubs are working together to nurture and develop the potential of young footballers from the Ghanaian academy.
The partnership, which was established last year, offers foreign training programmes to enhance the local training provided to the Academy's players.
As part of efforts to strengthen this collaboration, Kenpong invited Bastia's Technical Director, Eric Joel, to experience the club's activities first-hand and tour its facilities.
During his visit to Ghana, Eric Joel paid a courtesy call to President Akufo-Addo, who described the relationship as having the potential to develop players for the various national teams in Ghana.
The President noted that Kenpong is an industrious businessman with a passion for football and expressed his support for the partnership to benefit the country's football.
Kenpong, President of Kenpong Football Academy, thanked Nana Akufo-Addo for his audience and words of encouragement.
The Bastia Technical Director is also expected to pay a courtesy call on former President J. A. Kufuor, the patron of Kenpong Football Academy.
Last Sunday, Eric Joel and Kenpong visited the Academy in Winneba.
