NDC communicator, Alex Kwaku Asafo Adjei, is calling for a probe into Zylofon Cash sponsorship deal with the Ghana Football Association.
The Ashanti Regional Deputy Communication Director aspirant for the National Democratic Congress says he smells something fishy about the Ghana Premier League financial package.
He says revelations in ace investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw’s explosive Number 12 expose’ demand a second look at the Zylofon Cash contractual agreement.
Already, some sports pundits are mounting pressure on Ghana Football Association to release details of the five-year deal.
Mr. Asafo Adjei believes resigned FA boss, Kwasi Nyantakyi's visit to the Jubilee House with officials of Zylofon Media to meet President Akufo-Addo few days after the signing of the Zylofon Cash contract raises questions than answers.
He wants the deal investigated to clear the presidency of any wrong doing.
He made the call on Nhyira FM in Kumasi.
