The National Media Commission has in consultation with the president appointed Chairperson and other members of governing boards of public corporations managing the state-owned media.
They include Prof Kwame Karikari, appointed as Chairperson for the Graphic Communication Group Limited and Prof Emmanuel Adow Obeng Chairing the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) Board.
Also, Very Rev. Ama Afo-Blay has been appointed as Chairperson for the New Times Corporation as well as Prof Olivia Kwapong who will be Chairing the Ghana News Agency (GNA) Board.

APPOINTMENT OF BOARD MEMBERS OF STATE OWNED MEDIA
In accordance with Article 168 of the 1992 Constitution and section 2(1)(e) of the National Media Commission Act, 1993 (Act 449), the National Media Commission has, in consultation with His Excellency the President, appointed the underlisted as Chairpersons and other members of governing boards of public corporations managing the state-owned media:
