PwC Ghana hosted its first-ever Season of Smiles event on December 20, 2024, an innovative initiative aimed at bringing joy to underprivileged communities while raising awareness about climate action and promoting sustainability.
This staff-led effort embodied the holiday spirit, delivering essential resources to children in need and fostering environmental consciousness.

It supported two remarkable institutions:
• Newlife Children’s Home, which cares for 92 children aged 4 months to 24 years, many of whom face abandonment, abuse, or disabilities.
• Chosen Children’s Home, a haven for 60 children rescued from environments affected by addiction and neglect.

Donations and Activities
PwC staff donated cash, clothing, toys, food items such as rice and oil, and building materials to meet the institutions’ specific needs. The event featured joyful moments as PwC staff and children engaged in dancing, games, and a festive feast.
The event also emphasised sustainability, with children participating in creative workshops to craft artworks from recyclable materials, fostering environmental awareness.

Additionally, participants aged 18 and above joined discussions on career planning, equipping them with tools for a brighter future.
Hayfron Aboagye, PwC Ghana’s Human Capital Leader, attended the event, underscoring the importance of giving back and building community spirit.
