Ghanaian forward Raymond Asante made his European top-flight debut over the weekend when Sporting Charleroi faced Truidense in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League.
The 20-year-old came on as a substitute in the 4-1 home win marking his first senior appearance since moving to Europe.
Asante enjoyed 20 minutes of action for the Zebras which also marked his first official game for the Belgian side after joining on loan this summer.
The Ghanaian youngster is on loan from Serie A side, Udinese. He has been with the Italian side's youth team since moving from Young Apostles in 2022.
Asante was a standout performer for Udinese's youth side last season as he powered the club's U-19 side to promotion to the Primavera 1.
The forward had an exceptional season, notching an impressive tally of 21 goals while adding up 12 assists across all competitions.
With Udinese’s Primavera side Asante played a total of 53 games and scored 23 goals and 13 assists.
